From the General Overseer: Pray for Camps, a Critical Ministry 
Around the International Offices we have begun to pray for our camping ministry all around the nation and the world. This morning we gathered in the Upper Room regular devotion and prayed for this vital ministry going on this summer. Our International Youth Directors, Trevor and Aileen Reid shared to motivate our prayers. I would like to call all our Connections readers to join in this prayer because I feel it is of the highest level of importance right now.
Many have heard of the Call to the Young Harvest that the Church of God of Prophecy is sounding out, along with many others. The simple fact is that camp ministry is one of the more significant ministries and outreaches to this young harvest. Some have said that camp is the greatest revival that we will experience across North America in any given year. Already we have heard reports of many receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in camps. We have heard of children and teens coming and receiving ministry that have no home life, or radically altered homes. We have heard of these youth and children hearing the call of God to devote their lives in service. Yes a revival is sweeping across this land this summer in the form of camps for youth and children.
Join with me from now through early August praying that God will send hosts of angels to camp ministries all over the nation and the world. Ask God for great conviction that will draw thousands to salvation. Seek God for the power of the blood of Jesus to cleanse and release young souls already in the clutches of evil. Call on God to baptize thousands into the fullness of the Holy Spirit with transforming impact on their lives, giving power for serving God. Pray for staff leaders in all these camps to be strong, inspired, loving, representatives of Christ to these youth and children. Let the Spirit grip your heart to pray for heaven’s blessings to come down mightily in the camp ministry right now and through this summer. Let’s unite and believe God for a powerful surge of ministry to this Young Harvest in camps all summer long.
