Meet You In Nashville!
The International Offices are buzzing with activity. Boxes are stacked in every hall. Staff have been staying long past closing time. Assembly anticipation charges the air.
You may not be in this big of a stir about the Assembly, but I am sure anticipation is rising where you are as well. It will only be a matter of days until the National/State/Regional Overseers will begin to arrive in Nashville for the preliminary meetings of the International Presbytery. And it will not be long until you join with all of us from the International Office for the August 12th opening of our 95th International Assembly.
Many have been praying fervently for the touch of heaven over these meetings. Just today at lunch in the Upper Room the presence of the Spirit charged the room as staff and ministry leaders interceded for this Assembly. Nearly everyone I speak to as I travel mention their prayers for this gathering. My faith is rising that God is going to minister to us as we meet in Nashville.
With this expectation I look forward to meeting you in Nashville on August 12th. There are plans to project simultaneous video from our national stadium in Dominican Republic one night. Our leaders are preparing a word from the Lord and several guests will share with us. The Bahamas National Praise Team will lead us in glorifying the King each night. And the King of Kings has given us confirmation He is going to be seen in every hungry heart.
