Helping Hands for Kids Giving Project

During the VBS week July 7-13 the children learned about Jesus’ power and what they could achieve through him. 

 

Not  only was this a week of learning and fellowship but it was also a week of giving and compassion. The mission was called Dump The Dump in which the children helped feed other children in Guatemala by collecting quarters. Each quarter was one hot meal for a child in Guatemala. The children in our VBS program collected enough quarters to provide 1320 hot meals. Which is a grand total of $330. Jasmine Hennings collected the most.

 

This years VBS shows us adults while the children are small they can accomplish big things through Christ and can serve as a lesson to us all.
