Discipleship Strategies:
Too often the great decisions are originated and given form in bodies made up wholly of men, or so completely dominated by them that whatever special value women have to offer is shunted aside without expression. This observation by Eleanor Roosevelt suggests that women probably have something to contribute when given the opportunity. In local ministry/discipleship strategies, it would be good to have input on a regular basis from the women in local church fellowships to assist in the development and organization of ministry designed for them. Women are often more social than men and have the need for fellowship and relationship building opportunities. This is a unique challenge for mothers of small children or women who are confined to the home during the day.
