One great need in mission work is buildings, and that need can be found everywhere. In many areas of the world the people live at poverty level. There is no way they could ever hope to own a building of their own. They worship in brush shelters, under trees, or sometimes under the sun. As we assist congregations in helping build churches, the door of opportunity opens for people to hear and respond to the gospel.
Everything is needed for buildings - purchase of land, foundations, roofs, financing to finish a building, or build an entire building. In many parts of the world, Helping Hand Ministry funding goes toward the supplies to assist the brethren to make their own bricks. Buildings are made possible not only through manual labor by indigenous people, but by people like you who give to finance the cost of building materials.
Some buildings have been under construction for many years because of difficulties in completing the funding process. Gifts of $1,000 to $25,000 are needed to help build a church. If you cannot send the several thousand dollars required, respond with what you can and with our combined efforts, members in these fields will be able to worship in church buildings.
